mvp

mitral valve prolapse diagnos my doctor,should i have to worry with this?

MVP is quite common and in the vast majority of cases it is hamless. Yours obviously falls into this category if your doctor did not deem further testing or treatment was necessary.
Since your doctor did not do a very good, or professioanl job of explaining what this meant, I would advise you to make a follow up appointment and get the answers you should have been given the first time!

I don't know much about mvp, but I looked it up and it seems harmless. I may have it my self, I have heart palpitations a lot, and never really had it checked out. What did the doc do to find out you had this?
