I have heard of it. The real name is phospho something, also known as PS.
Never tried it. Wondered about it as well. It is supposed to reduce the cortisol which causes stress.
Has anyone of a supplement available online called Seredyn. All of the ingredients look pretty legit, and according to all of the testimonials, it obviously worked for some people. if anyone has any experience with this please share.
Bump...hoping to get some more input for pianoman
Natural remedies not addictive? You mean like alkeehall and terbacky or cocaine or doo-bees?
I don't know how far away "away" is, but I can pretty much tell you that the greatest calming influence may well be the people you hang with. The fastest way to find the "fit" is to get connected with a PERSON or PEOPLE who allow you to feel like yourself. Excitement is hardly something you want to suppress, because this is an exciting time. So I would suggest you get to college as early as you are allowed to get there; you want to be all moved in before the on-rush. Set out a cooler with some soft drinks, iced tea, bottled water, and some snacks for people who are moving in -the other newbies will love you for this and it won't take YOU long to figure out who the other slightly nervous folks are -trust me, you'll recognize each other.
(If you are not boarding, then you want to be there early enought to get everywhere you are going ahead of anyone else, maybe even a DAY ahead of time.)
You take pianoman as a nicname, so I'll take a wild guess and suppose you play the piano. That might mean you'll be taking some music classes. Stop by the music department, find your prof's office and volunteer to help him/her make ready for the new semester.
The whole point here is that if you are BUSY and FOCUSED you really won't have time to get too freaked out. And at the end of the day, yeah, have some of that nice herbal tea, toss back an aspirin and nighty-night.
I would be more leery of an online herbal "remedy" as there is no oversight or FDA approval process. The safest thing would probably be herbal tea like Cali suggested (and relaxation techniques). Anything else and you don't know what you are getting.
I don't know personally about them, but I would be careful believibg products sold online....I am sure there are others here who might have tried some of them....
I see a couple of products online for dealing with anxiety, i was wondering if anyone has tried any.
PLease let me know before i spend 40 bucks on something I don't eve know works
I know that Chamomile Tea helped me in the evening when my heart would start racing and I couldn't sleep. As far as the daytime went, I just learned to not focus on it. It has been a long battle for me, but I had remained medication free. I believe it can be done.
Good Luck!
sorry after reading my post I think i was a little confusing. What i was trying to say is that I am looking for any natural ways to deal with anxiety. i dont want to take prescription medication because of my fear of addiction. Can anyone offer any help or suggestions for me?
