Thanks for the encouragement. I guess i just dont have the patience and my life has completely stopped for the last month. The first docs i saw, i believe, just wanted me n and out of their office. So that made me go to a family doctor the past saturday and he actually seemed to want to get to the root of the problem. I understand that antidepressants take a while to work, and i now know that klonopin has to do the about the same. Again, thank you.
Okay, now I recall your situation.
Here's one of your last threads:

It's way too premature to make any determinations about the meds. Like Paxiled said in this thread (linked above), you've been cycled through numerous AD's in a short time, so you haven't been able to really be able to assess its effectiveness. Same with the Klonopin, it builds in the plasma for optimal efficacy.
As hard as it is to be patient, it's necessary. You have appointments coming up and you're starting therapy, which is a good thing. You have to give this some time. I know it's tough.
I agree with Paxiled's post. I'll have to go back and read your posting history, your id is very familiar, I believe we've discussed your anxiety before. Let me take a peek and see if I can offer you anymore suggestions aside from the good advice Paxiled gave you.
While benzos can help relax a person to help them sleep, they aren't sleeping pills, though many docs use them for that. They also do wear off, so they won't prevent anxiety from returning. In fact, no medication usually completely frees one from anxiety, they just make it less of a concern. Some get better results than that, but most don't. I would suggest, if you absolutely need it, using the klonopin as intended, which is as a relaxant, not for sleeping, and find something not involving medication to solve any sleeping problems. Have you tried any anxiety specific therapy? Have you tried any relaxation techniques, such as meditation and exercise? Have you tried natural sleep aids, such as melatonin, which don't interfere with REM sleep as drugs do? And if you've decided you absolutely need medication to function, have you looked into antidepressants? They last all day when they work.
