Big Anxiety Problem

I was looking at other people's posts with similar symptoms to mine. I have twitching, tingling sensations in my fingers, toes. Muscle pain in my arms, which can get worse when I worry too much. Facial spasms, restrictive movement, jerking sensations, etc... It's been happening like this for nearly a week now. I've had similar problems before with nerves jumping, twitching and some muscle weakness. But nothing like this. It won't seem to clear up at all. It gets worse in the later part of the day, evening time until I go to bed. it's not as bad at all when I get up the next day, I can still feel tingling and some muscle pain, but much less. So I dunno what's going on. It's destroying me mentally, like alot of people I just jump to the worst case scenario of ALS or MS. I dunno what to think. I have IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome), which I was diagnosed with last year, and I have read that similar symptoms to mine can be experienced through the stress side of IBS. I'm going to the doctor tomorrow, hopefully I might know a little more then, probably have to have blood tests and an MRI done. I just need some answers so I can know what to think. Cheers for reading this, any simillar experiences people have had or are experiencing, post away. Would like to hear from others. Thanks again,

Eoghan.

Hey, so I went to the doctor. It's good news, the doctor ruled out any serious neurological disorder or disease, through some tests etc... I'm going to get Blood tests done to check my B12 levels. They might be low. She said to give it a week and see how I feel, if there's no improvement or if it gets worse to go back and then probably get an MRI scan. But she doesn't seem to think it will be necessary. It's funny, I mean yeah I'm relieved it's nothing really serious, but these feelings never go away right away, just goona have to somehow relax and de-stress.

I think I worry far too much and I know that some of the pain and weakness I am feeling was brought on by worrying too much. Anyway that's about the jist of it. Hopefully it'll clear up or at least be less of a problem in a few days. Anyway cheers for the support, and hope you stay well. Thanks again for support,

Eoghan

Hey, cheers for posting back. Yeah the anxiety is hell at the moment. It's the restrictive movement thing that's killing my anxiety. Nothing has let up on me now for a whole day for about a week nearly. I'll let ya know if I discover anything positive or negative from the doctor tomorrow. Thanks again for posting.

Hello none!  Welcome to the forum!

=D

I just wanted to let you know that you're not alone in how you're feeling.  I myself have been on an emotional roller coaster for a week now but,  have been dealing with anxiety for 10 years.  Not only do I have anxiety but,  I also have Type 2 Diabetes,  Acid Reflux Disease and Vertigo.

=o/

Everything seemed to go down hill since I formed my anxiety disorder.  Each and every single year there is always something new and wrong with me.  I can't seem to catch a break and all.  All this week,  I have had panic attack after panic attack.  First,  with fears I was having a heart attack.  Then,  fears of having a stroke and also thinking a deadly spider bit me.  Off and on all week,  the right side of my body will go numb and tingly,  starting with my face and then just moving all down that whole side before slowly moving to other parts in my body.  I went to bed feeling that last night and woke up with it a little this morning.  Not to mention my throat is tingly too.  Anxiety can make you feel so many different,  horrible things.  But,  if you want peace of mind,  definitely visit your doctor and keep us posted.

I just realised I may have posted this in the wrong section. Sorry if that's the case.
