Leg aches

I started to get this weird sensation in my legs before they diagnosed me with anxiety. It comes and goes but now it aches in calf muscles and my heels feel kind of numb. I was wondering if this is part of the anxiety?
I've read about muscle tension and aches with depresseion/anxiety. But I want to know will this sort of thing go away when my meds finally kick in (been 3 weeks). Are my legs sore from muscle tension putting strain on my leg nerves or what? I don't want to go back to the doctor unless I have to. They are the ones who told me there was nothing wrong with my legs and gave me prescription for Celexa! I hate this! I just want to get on with trying to recover.

Easiest thing to try is supplementing with magnesium citrate.  Magnesium is commonly low in the US diet or else calcium is too high, leaching out the magnesium, or else we're on medication, which tends to interfere with magnesium absorption.  Magnesium is responsible for relaxing our muscles.  May not work, but won't hurt.

I'm 34, no diabetes, average weight and mildy active. I was sore yesterday and not today. I a total of 800mg of ibuprofen yesterday and massaged my legs and also used heat (all before bed). I read online that excess adrenaline in muscles (from anxiety) can cause soreness. Also was recommended to excercise daily. I hope this is what it will take. I'm trying to deal my new diagnosis and do not need this extra symptom, darn it :(
The docs said lets not chase every symtom I have. I'm seeing a PT for my neck issues, which I'm am sure is related to muscle tension (had a headache for 3 weeks). I just want to hear that my medication will kick in and decrease the tension I feel from anxiety. Has this happend to anyone else (I mean the good outcome I mentioned).

Without knowing your age, your level of physical activity, if you have any other physical problems such as diabetes, any other meds you may be on, the exact nature of these "weird symptoms." it will be difficult for us to give you much.
When the doctors told you there was nothing wrong with your legs, which tests did they use to rule out anything organically wrong?
I can understand not wanting to go back to the doctor, but they are going to be the only ones who can diagnose the problem.
Sorry, not what you wanted to hear, I know.
