Facial Twitch

I am unsure, but for roughly THREE weeks, now, I have been experiencing a facial twitch in my right cheek area. I went to the doctor, and he drew blood. Apparently tested for Potassium & Thyroid malfunctions. My blood work came back GREAT! As relieved as I am about that, my twitch has not gone away. I scare myself into thinking it is something major. Why will the twitch not go away? Any ideas? I take a Klonopin everyday, but that does not even stop it. What should my next step be??? Any specific vitamins? Ideas of any? Thank you!

I take propanolol for a tremor in my hand, and it works great.  Talk to your doctor about your twitch and hopefully he will have some answers for you.

Propanolol might assist you, though it's relatively short acting (at least the form I take). I take it along with Klonopin with decent results. The Propanolol relaxes the body, while the Klonopin relaxes the mind.

Sometimes that can come from anxiety disorder itself. As well some medications (Klonopin not among them) can cause temporary movement disorders that can be treated with a side effect pill. Speak to your psychiatrist about that and also tell them what medications you took in the past (of any kind) and have them do a movement disorders test. Its probably nothing of concern but that's good to follow up on regardless.
