ive done research on this disease and theres little info on it.
doctors suggest that it can be brought on with stress or you can be born
with it. i was not born with it. thats why i was wondering. if stress and anxiety
can cause it, then maybe severe stress and anxiety can correct it. theres no
cure for this disease. its very unpredictable. it comes and goes
No, anxiety and stress will not correct this problem. You need to address these issues with your doctor since they are new. Also, we are all lay people who volunteer our time to help others, so if you post a question be patient. When someone who can answer your questions logs on, they will respond quickly to your post. We are a caring group, and wouldn't ignore you. Hope you get some ansers as to what is going on and do take care!
hello? anybody? a response would be great. thankyou
i suffer from alopecia areata its an autoimmune disease that makes your hair fall out.
i recently had a traumatic experience. ive had EXTREME stress and anxiety for a
month. my whole lifestyle changed. i usually eat 4 to 5 meals a day and get 8 to 9 hours sleep. the whole month of november i hadnt had a full nights rest and i only eat 2 to 3 meals a day. i have joint pain and muscle aches. but recently my hair is not falling out anymore. is it possible for the extreme stress and anxiety to correct my alopecia?
Yes, stress plays a big role in our immune system. Stress makes us more vulnerable to illnesses, just another reason for us to get it under control as much as possuble. It's hard on our hearts as well.
