Live and learn ... the hard way for most of us.

Watch out for the Coke, Caffeine and sugar, and same for Orange for sugar if a carbonated drink.

I recognize caffeine and sugar are mostly a stimulant, and alcohol is a depressant, so effects  may be different on anxiety.  But, neither is quantity is good.

Hope you are feeling better... land being an old guy I don't understand your short-hand (texting) style, but suppose I got the core of your post.

"Stupid me I was told an thought I was a smart arse who had it under control how wrong was"

I hate to say I told you so...but I did.

I cannot stress enough how much alcohol exacerbates anxiety.  Sure, in the moment, you feel great, but for a few days after, your anxiety will be terrible.  It's honestly not worth it.

When you have chronic anxiety, you need to learn what your triggers are, and avoid them.  Understand that that doesn't mean you'll NEVER be able to touch a drop of alcohol again.  When you're going through a period where your anxiety is well managed, with litttle problems...then an occasional drink here or there won't affect you so severely.

However, when you're anxiety is not well controlled and you're struggling with it, it is important to be proactive and avoid anything you know will cause it to be worse.  Alcohol should be on the top of that list.

You honestly need to just give it up for a while.  To continue to do the same things you know gave you issues doesn't make a whole lot of sense.  Maybe now you'll be convinced that what I said about alcohol is true.  Sure hope so.

You'll feel better in a few days, you just have to give it time.  Unfortunately, there is not a whole lot you can do but ride it out at this point.  Hang in there.

My legs feel like jelly, its horrible me brothers been giving me coffee all day.

Are TRYING to make yourself worse????  PLEASE lay off the coffee too!  Stick to water, decaf beverages for now.  In the very least, LIMIT your caffeine intake to one or two drinks (TOTAL...including soda, coffee, tea) a day.

All you can do right now is drink plenty of water...get out and get some exercise, and wait it out.  There's no quick fix, and certainly all drinking a ton of coffee is going to do is send you right into a panic attack.

Excellent idea.  When you start taking the advice from people who have been there seriously, then the real progress can begin.

Don't worry about the sugar in orange and other pops. Studies have proven that sugar does not have ANY effect on people's activity levels, although many parents mistakenly think their children get hyper when they eat too much of it. I believe coke has caffeine, so if so that wouldn't be good, but would be a lot better than alcohol.

Anxiety can only PHYSICALLY make you lose weight, because it makes you upset and you don't digest well. However, indirectly it could make you gain weight if you eat for satisfaction when anxious, and take in more food than you normally would.

Sounds like your mates need a sober person to drive them around anyway, so maybe that job can help you stay away from the temptation for the booze.

Lifestyle changes are a great idea.  SO many people have reported a tremendous improvement in their anxiety after some dietary changes, getting healthy in terms of exercise, not being sedentary...cutting out unhealthy foods, fatty foods, stimulants, etc.  The saying "you are what you eat" does have a lot of truth in it.

And while I would agree that the old wives' tale about sugar causing hyperactivity to be false, sugars DO affect us in many different ways.  There are a lot of theories about sugar intake and their link to how we feel, and our health.  I'm a firm believer of everything in moderation...a couple caffeinated beverages a day are fine...same way with anything else (sugars).

I think that making a committment to change your lifestyle for the better is a great one.  It's definitely a place to start.
