thanks for the time

just wanted to say thanks for reading the post.  i apologize for the length, but did not want to leave anything out in case someone, somewhere had the same experience(s).

it's refreshing to know that this board is here to share experiences with other people who are going through the same thing.  my family is of the "just don't think about it and it'll go away" mindset.  my counter is always, "would you do the same for a compound fracture?"

And I'd like to apologize for the very brief "answer" you received but.........
It's great when folks take the time to give adequate background information to help us give the best opinion we can, but a three part post is a little over the top! There's a fine line between enough info and too much. Sadly, yours fell into the "way too much" category. Once you get familiar with the site, you'll see that many people will write their background history in a journal or in their profile and then post a simple and brief question on the forum. Anyone wanting more detail can then check there or ask you personally.
I did read your entire post, rather quickly, and must admit that by the end of chapter two I was totally lost and actually don't think I saw a question mark anywhere. By the time I got to the end, I wasn't sure exactly WHAT you wanted an opinion on. I just took a stab that it was your post title "could this be anxiety....." which didn't have a question mark either!
I'm glad you found us as we are one hell of a great group of people who have all been where you and places much worse. We'd like you to join us. I hope you have spent some time reading other posts and have seen the "general" length of those and will post to us again.
Peace
