therapist?

hello--am trying to help out a friend who needs some help with anxiety.  does anyone have any experience with a good therapist in the new york city area (or connecticut or new jersey, or greater new york city) --a Licensed clinical social worker--preferably female, who does Cognitive Behavioral therapy, and is in private practice (and if possible not contracted with any insurance companies).

Sorry, I'm on the West Coast, so can't help you with your quest. But I would first suggest your friend consult with her doctor to rule out any physical reasons for the anxiety. If the DX IS anxiety, her doctor will be able to refer her to a therapist with all the qualifications she is seeking.
