twitching and achey

hello,,, 29 years old.. and 35 weeks prego.

ive suffered with healt anxiety and panic for about 10 years. i had to switch from paxil to zoloft when i got prego.  

over the last 4-6 weeks..ive experienced new symptoms.

i twitch ALL OVER MY BODY. alot of it seems to be in the legs and arms....its so wierd. i also have very achy legs (shins and calfs) from the knee down....which is also pretty annoying.

i know alot of this is probably (hopefully) from pregnancy and anxiety.

but of course i googled symptoms....and als and nasty neuorlogical diseases came up!!!!! i saw my neurologist twice in the past 6 weeks,,,and both times she said im fine,,,and declined further testing. ive also saw my gp who says the same...they blame anxiety and pregnancy.

anyone else with this wierd twitching thing?

I was on Paxil for three pregnancies. My first my anxiety improved. My second two my anxiety was through the roof. I twitch ALOT. I spent a ton of time on google and was sure that something was not right. I also have way over reactive reflexes so that added to my worry. I was so bad that I went to the ER every night. Finally they sent me to a neurologist and despite the twitching and reflexes they told me that the reflexes is the way I am wired. Some people just have very brisk reflexes and the twitching was anxiety. Took me awhile to believe it but I had a CAT scan and the neurologist was absolutely positive that he was right. Well 3 years later I still twitch on occasion depending on anxiety level and my reflexes havent changed so he was right. Hang in there, anxiety with pregnancy is brutal but soon enough you will have your little one and if necessary be able to change or increase your medication
