Oh by the way,
i'm not sure but maybe inferiority complex causes you to have social phobia.
If your around people, you think other people are worth more than you?
Cause they have kids, cause they have a house and a job,
cause they have a husband, cauase they "look better"?
What "good looks" are is subjective. In some cultures they like this, in other cultures they like that. In european culture, big women used to be considered hot and skinny woman used to be ugly.
Some of the reasons you don't have many of the things other people have is because you have had bad luck that many of the other people haven't had,
and also because you have made the mistake to react to your problems in a fearful way... this has obviously limited you.
Don't worry though, all of the other people make mistakes as well... and often they make much bigger mistakes such as causing harm to others. You have probably primarily only caused harm to yourself.
Making mistakes is human, and we can learn to correct them.
The things you own, how much children you have, how much your husband earns and the way you look does not make who you are. It does not make you happy or unhappy.
Many people have everything seemingly perfect but are very unhappy.
Other people are in poor health and live on the street, and are happier than most people can imagine. The key to happiness is in your mind, not in the world around you.
Yes, many people judge people according to superficial circumstances. Unfortunately for them, because their judging behavior makes them unhappy even though they may not even realize that.
Many people don't judge by these things too though. What is important is that you do not think in terms of what could have been, but in terms of what you will make of the present.
I used to have very strong social phobia and panick attacks,
which i fixed by learning to see how my mind works and learning to take control of it.
Maybe you will want to try this yourself,
you can read about it int he free ebook on the website below:
http://www.urbandharma.org/udharma4/mpe.html
Some people don't manage to control their anxiety/panic on their own,
luckily for these people there are meds.
I must warn you, that not believing you can control yourself will make you not have control of yourself.
Believing you can have control of yourself, and taking control of yourself... chance is high you will succeed in doing so.
The ebook i linked you to is buddhist in nature. I am not a textbook buddhist but i practice mindfullness. I don't believe in reincarnation or heaven, although I consider these theories possible.
I am not sure about the existance of "god",
but i know that in a matter of speaking "god" and "demons" really do exist.
They exist as forces in your own mind. Demons will try to take control of you,
but if you believe in "god" to give you the power to control yourself... you will probably succeed in doing so.
I believe the reason why some christians feel empowered by prayer and other christians do not,
is because some christians pray to god and think that god will do the work for them.
Those who feel empowered probably continuously focus their mind on prayer, or on "god".
As buddhism teaches, focusing the mind is a method to gain selfcontrol and to conquer fear/depression/panic.
There are many kinds of buddhism just like there are many kinds of christianity.
The kind of buddhism i linked you to in that ebook is very simple. It does not talk a lot about religious beliefs or any of that,
it merely speaks about how to take back control of your mind.
Try to work on your faith. Whether it is faith in god or yourself.
Have you talked to your Dr about this?
Are you on medication for this?
I have it too, plus a bunch of other illnesses, but for this I am taking Clonazapam or Diazapam, which I also use to sleep, otherwise I cant sleep, my mind races on all night.
Let me know & welcome!
