weird symptoms....doc says anxiety

I am 32 years old, just recently had a CT of the abd/pelvis with and without contrast for a weird discomfort I had been having for 4-5 weeks. CT showed a small ovarian cyst. That evening on my way home I got a really really bad headache. I took ibuprofen for it and starting the next day I've had neck pain, tension and tingling sensations. They travel from behind my ears (to the base of my skull), my jaw to the front of my chin and especially my neck, under the jaw bone. The feeling vary from tightness to the point that someone had their hand around my neck. I get a twinge of discomfort from time to time too.  My doctor tells me it's anxiety and I want to believe him, but I don't want to miss finding something horrible. Any suggestions?
Also, I got a CT of my head and neck at an Urgent Care, which came up negative.
Thanks for all who help!
Jenn

thanks for responding! I have tried Xanax before bed and I am able to sleep alright, but not 100% sure it takes the symptoms away. I've been on Celexa for 2 days and I'm in a great mood, but still have those weird tightness feelings and tingling and hot rushing feelings. People say that it is anxiety in my subconscious and even though I don't feel nervous or anxious in my mind, my body is still showing it. This is hard for me to understand, as I have been very nervous and anxious before and never had this physical part to it.
I have noticed that when I am sitting down and resting my head back on a chair (upright), I feel more of the burning/tingling/warm sensation. When I am standing doing the dishes, I feel the pressure/pulling in my neck, even though I don't have tightness when I move my head side to side.
I am very scared that I am going to feel like this forever.
Do you think the CT dye did this to me?
You recommended more tests on my neck....which ones? blood work? I work in the lab at my office, so I can recommend tests to my doc.
Anyones comments and suggestions are very appreciated!

I think it's very smart of you to have tests done. Yes, anxiety can cause many of the symptoms you have but it's best to know for sure. Have you tried an anti anxiety med? If so, did it help your symptoms?
You may want to also see your dentist. I'm mentioning this because I was having a lot of jaw pain and headaches. My dentist told me he saw wear on my teeth and that I must be grinding them in my sleep. He made a mouth guard for me to wear at night. I do have severe anxiety and that's probably why I grind my teeth.
Do you get the tingling sensations out of the blue, or when your feeling anxious?
You should probably have tests done on your neck. It could be a pinched nerve or ruptured disc. Take care. Remar
