withdrawal symptoms
I was diagnosed with anxiety-panic attacks four years ago and were prescribed xanor and seroxat. Last june 2008, I stopped taking xanor but still am taking 1/4 of a 20mg tablet every 2 days. I am experiencing weight gain, as in extreme, of 10 lbs in a month and that's with regular exercise and a 1200 calorie diet. Just to stop gaining I needed to lower my calorie intake to 1000 a day. I am also experiencing weight gain of mostly in the abdominals, insomnia, irregular heart beat, irregular menstruation, chronic indigestion and dizziness. What do you think cause these symptoms? By the way I also have hypothyroidism for almost 15 years now and am taking eltroxin 50mcg a day. Please help me.
Have you tried to google "Eltroxin Side Effects"? I suggest you do so now.
I had the same affects you mention while on Synthroid and now have been off it for about 10 days and feeling so much better, my anxiety is considerably reduced, I was on 50mcg also but it was enough to mess me up in 3 months!
Eltroxin has changed its formula and more people are suffering side effects. Have you heard of Armor? Apparantly that is supposed to be better.
