worried, again.

Hello everyone. I suffer from OCD and anxiety. A couple of weeks ago (3 to be exact) my washcloth touched the bottom of my shower shoe at the gym. I rinsed it off with hot water and a lot of soap then proceeded to wash my private area.

3 weeks later, I am suffering from "symptoms". I was wondering if you could tell me if these anxiety symptoms are common or if I have contracted a disease.

-sore throat, only painful when swallowing -- negative strep test
-pain in the thigh area
-white-ish tongue (does not look like thrush, according to google pics)
-red dots under skin -- they appear randomly
-i also have this thought that I have jinxed myself into getting a disease because i am "too careful" has anyone else ever felt like that?

i do not have a fever, diarrhea, or any fatigue.

Thank you so much.

You should get checked out by a doctor if you are physically uncomfortable.  None of your symptoms seem to be linked to one another.  They certainly didn't come from the shower incident.  You may have some virus that just needs a couple of days to pass.  If it will set your mind at ease see your doc.  Can't hurt!

Sounds like anxiety to me. Are you taking an antibiotic because if you are some can cause white tongue. Red dots don't sound like anything serious unless it changes size, or spreads all over your body or has pain. I think you should throw away that rag, take a thorough shower and relax. Good luck to you.
