zoloft

I started taking zoloft about 3 weeks ago and I am pregnant at 6 months, I was told not to drink milk with my medication.  Can you please tell me what are the effects of drinking milk with my medication?

I hope you are being prescribed this med by your OB/GYN. My nursing pharmacology book lists Zoloft TWICE under "Precautions!" I am not a doctor nor a pharmacist, but I would sure as hell get on the phone with my OB and discuss the use of this med while pregnant.

As far as drinking milk with Zoloft, again my nursing book actually recommends drinking milk with the Zoloft if you're having any GI symptoms.

Maybe the rules are different when you're pregnant, but I wouldn't sit around waiting to find out. I urge you to discuss all of this with your OB as soon as possible.
Peace

+1 on greenlydia.  I'm looking at my zoloft script and there's a pregnancy warning on the bottle.  BEE CAREFUL.  Tlk to your doctor ASAP.
