Pain all the time

I have arthritis. My question is, is it normal to be in pain all the time?? My ankles hurt so much my toes, my wrist and my fingers just throb constantly. I've gotten a blood test for rA and it came back normal. It runs in my family my grandmother has it.

there are snogg knee pads, they do miracles.

Well I have the same problem.  I went down the surgery route hand surgery
Arthroplasty, 3 knee surgeries including total knee replacement, now my neck is a mess and my foot and ankle.    So I have the same question is pain somewhere normal?
