Pain in Fingers, Knees, Elbows, Wrists

I'm 19, and probalby about 8 months ago, out of no where my wrists started to click, and hurt. Which followed up with my fingers becoming sore to bend. Then My elbows started clicking when i would unbend them. And also my knees become sore, to where I do not want to walk and just sit around. I don't know what it is. I have gone to the doctors and they can't seem to figure it out.

I do not have any family history of rheumatoid arthritis. Or really of any arthritis. I'm confused to why this would happen out of no where, and no one else I know, can understand what I'm talking about.

Does anybody have any answers?!

Hi kdol, I agree with Trudie - you need to be seen by a rheumatologist. RA doesn't have to run in families, it can strike anyone at any age, even infants.

There are a number of support groups out on the internet - poke around until you find one you like. There's a particularly good one on Facebook called RA Chicks, if you're on FB. :) Good luck! Keep us posted.

There are over a hundred different types of arthritis and some auto-immune issues as well as fibromyalgia can have similar symptoms.  You need to be seen by a rheumatologist to be properly diagnosed and treated.
