A Book Question,"When Someone you love has Bipolar Disorder?"

Does anyone have any reviews of this book?  I saw it on Amazon and was considering getting it for my wife.  They don't have any reviews of it yet, so I'm looking for a little help on here.
thanks,
Rogelio

My husband and I bought this book a few years ago when it first appeared. He found it very helpful, but mentioned that the suggestions in the book need to be practiced on a regular basis (obviously) in order to work most effectively. :) As the bipolar person in our relationship, from my perspective the book has helped him become more patient with me when I exhibit symptoms, change meds, etc.

PS-- you are talking about the book by Cynthia G. Last Phd, right? Just making sure--as that is the one we have and are working on together...

this was the 1st book i bought when I was diagnosed with bipolar. I read it first, highlighted alot of the content that I felt pertained to me the most-- then gave it to my husband to read... My husband says that it is insightful... ( he's not a man of many words)..but I myself feel that it covers alot of things pretty well. I like it-- and am glad I bought it. Got my copy from "Onespirit" book club... They have ALOT of good self help, inspirational and spiritual books... and they have some really good new member slaes and benefits along the way... I think it's a good book, insightful, good overview and descriptions of what the BP spouse is going thru-- and info for the non-BP spouse on how to help him/her...
