Medication Withdrawal Questions

I'm withdrawing from Zyprexa, Abilify, Ativan and sertraline. It's been three weeks and I've had terrible nausea, stomach pain, fatigue, and generally not feeling good. How long will this last? And, any ideas on how to deal with mania since I can't just "knock myself out" like usual? I need to get enough sleep to stay out of the hospital!

Are you withdrawing simultaneously from these four drugs?  That seems like a major project.  Is your p-doc in on this?

From my own experience (not with the same drugs, though), I would concur with those who counsel a gradual approach; make that a VERY gradual approach.

All the best!

I don't know how long it will last, it depends highly on the medication and what dose you're taking and how quickly you withdraw from it but I believe cold turkey withdrawal is the longest and hardest withdrawal of them all.

I think the best way to quit your medication is by downscaling bit by bit untill
eventually finished.

Best way to avoid all the bad side-effects!
