I was on it for about 6 months. The only side effect I had was I was always tired. It never went away. I eventually persuaded my pdoc to take me off it. That was the only side effect though. It did take away hallucinations and paranoia and so forth though. It does work really well.
It was a nightmare for me but for some people works well. If you experience side effects talk to your doc.
those are the exact symptoms i had on Geodon myself. I was put on 40mg for two days then bumped up to 80mg which i barely tolerated for about a week and a half. the side effects were so severe that i was out of work for two days. when i finally got the pdoc to call me back i had him reduce me back to 40mg a day, which i took for two days, and then the last night i took it, my vision went... that was it for me.. didn't take another dose and had my doc put me back onto the seroquel. Geodon is a miracle for some, but a nightmare for others.... some say the side effects lessen, but after two weeks of not knowing if i was coming or going, i gave it up... just became too scared about the effects i as having..... i was off the geodon for two full days before i saw my pdoc and the withdrawal from it was pretty intense... flu like symptoms, hot/cold chills, shaky, extreme anxiety... it was truly a nightmare.....
