My nephew was diagnosed with Asberger's many years ago, and the behavior of these little girls sounds so much like him that it's incredible.  He depended on routine and repetition, and preferred playing alone.  Of course, that's only a problem if it gets in the way of things once the child is in school and expected to socialize and interact--and that did happen with my nephew.

However, for both these girls, I wouldn't worry at all about the concept of time.  Four years old is actually very young, and the notion of weeks, for example, is something that most kids don't get a handle on until they are around 7 to 10 years old (you can google this).  These 4 year olds sound pretty normal in that way.

Still, you might consider joining an Asberger's forum for more help.

Some of this sounds very similar tomy 4 year old daughter and i am starting to think that she may also have aspergers.  SHe can go into trance like moments or hysteria if something is not just so, somedays things will be fine and another day the same thing will trigger of an "episode".  She also asks are we going today or soon, and keeps repeating, cshe cannot grasp concept of days and times etc... as well as not liking change or anything out of her comfort zone.  I know this does not help you but i am just pleased i am not alone and too hear someone else goign through same things, i would just like to get a definitive answer either way.
