My work wants me to take a class to learn how to become organized. They will pay for me to go if necessary. I think it would be a positive thing to take a class because I have struggled my whole life with organizing but then on top of it my confusion/difficulty concentrating/disorganization of thought process makes it even worse, and since these aspects of my illness seem to be progressively getting worse maybe a class will help. Even at my best organizational skills I'm a joke, really. So although I want to take a class I don't think that a normal class would work out since I know tons of tricks for oranization but none of them work for me, in fact many just make it harder for me. I would rather take a class that is geared toward people with mental illness and taught by someone who gets it.
Is there anything like that in the world? I've been trying to find something but I don't know what to search under. Any ideas? I'm not a horder or anything like that. I just have trouble with things like how to put things away so that I don't forget they are there, or so they look nice. How to work without making my desk messy. How to get things done in a timely manner, etc. I fit that old saying perfectly "a cluttered desk is the sign of a cluttered mind."
Any ideas?
