Even though your OCD is now manageable, that doesn't necessarily mean that all of your anxiety will now go away entirely. It's possible that what you're experiencing is actually just that: anxiety that is strong enough to make you feel really uncomfortable and agitated, even though it doesn't seem like there is a particular reason or cause to have it in the first place. Anxiety can pop up and present at unexpected times and in unexpected ways, and sometimes it's nearly impossible to trace where it comes from.

Anger, agitation, anxiety, etc. are all potential symptoms in bipolar mood states, but they are also very common in many other psychiatric disorders, and of course even in people without any psychiatric illness. In bipolar disorder, these symptoms occur during mood episodes, where a person can either be very elevated (mania/hypomania), or very down (depression). In this sense, moods are different than emotions, because they last much longer and more consistently.

From what you've written, it does not sound like you're experiencing a mood disorder, but if you are worried about it, then you should speak with the doctor you have been seeing for OCD treatment. There are many good sites online that can explain different mood disorders as well as the many different manifestations of anxiety.

Most bipolar episodes last weeks to months at a time. There is a very rare subset of bipolar disorder where moods change every few hours but again this continues for weeks on end. Been there and trust me when I say it is a living nightmare. I'd google hypomania and see if you have any of those symptoms. Especially if your mood is linked to your sleep. It is very rare to have bipolar and not have sleep issues to go with it.

And I'd ask you pdoc about your meds and your concern over whether of not you have bipolar. Some meds can cause anger and agitation. I get agitation from Zeldox (Geodone for you US folks) but I still take it because the benefits outweigh the risks.

some views say that OCD can turn into BP so is ADHD and PD. But this view i read only in one article. though one of my pdocs also asserted it. whether this is right or wrong I can't tell. He said OCd eventually turns into either BP or migraine.

That psych illness keep changing symptoms is weird i would say. But i saw this opinion in many posts.
