bipolar?
I just had a very bad reaction to mirtazapine. Right from the very first pill of 15mg. I swung from suicidal to on a high within a matter of days. I also had extreme dizziness and the doc took me off them after around 10 days as the side effects were making me unable to function. ive recently (2 months ago) quit alcohol and my moods are in general all over the place. Though the mirtazapine definitely made then worse. Im wondering if maybe I have bipolar? After years of self medicating with various drugs and/or alcohol this is the first time in my life I have been sober.
Thanx for advice and that is what is happening now. Just left my session with alcohol counsellor. He suggested I may be bipolar. Some scary stuff I have to face now. Am leaving my self medicating comfort zone.
