does any one have bipolar and gets disability?

i was diagnosed with bipolar in 2001 and have been on meds since. i have a difficult time holding employment, so i applied for social security disability. do u know of anyone who egts disability? i go to court in 3 more days for my disability and i do have a lawyer.

Well if it doesn't work out for whatever reason you could always cheat and get extra money through giving plasma and such.  It's not much but it's better than nothing.

I am Bi-Polar, BPD, have panic attacks, etc...could not hold done a job...the first time I got denied and the 2nd time after waiting 2 years for a second trial I had a lawyer and won my case...I now have SSDI ...I have been on meds almost my entire life but more so now...the lawyer can help you if he will...I did not have that good of a lawyer but still won my case

Yes I have before I acquired my physical disability done some representation in that area and now recieve SSDI as well. Its essential to have strong evidence from your psychiatrist stating the exact nature of your disability and how it makes you completely unable to do any kind of work not just the job you have.
