You can call Common Ground and tell them you need to see a psychiatrist and you don't have insurance. They can make an appointment for you at a free clinic. They will even pay for your medication. I know it's a huge pain in the butt to start with someone new but you really have to do it for your safety and your baby's safety. Besides that, this should be a happy time for you. You don't have to be miserable. Sounds like things are hard for you guys right now. Remember that things change fast. You guys might have to reach out for some help (like food pantries, etc). I am struggling too and it ***** but reaching out gets us by. You can dial "211" on your phone for The United Way. They can give you the number for Common Ground and numbers for food pantries, and there are a ton of places that helps pregnant women. You can get a ton of stuff!
Best wishes,
Dawn
Can't speak to her my husband lost his job 3m ago we don't have medical cover anymore so I have been to a session since then
It would be best to speak to your psychiatrist as soon as possible.
Then ask them what medications for bipolar could be safely
taken during pregnancy. They should also consult with your Ob-Gyn
as well.
