not feeling well

I'm considered light bipolar.. but to me I'm just bipolar..... any who.... For about 5 days I've been feeling a little weird.....I'm on medication and was on 200mg of limictal but my dose was lowered to 100mg I'm not sure if it's the change in my dose of my medication but I've been feeling light headed.. I feel as if I want to faint...some what dizzy but not off balance.. my mouth has this weird tingly feeling almost like the nerve tightens and the numb up a bit... My hands are cold and a bit tingly. My head feels as if I'm turned up side down and all the blood has rushed up. I almost feel as if my blood level is either to high or as if my sugar is. Could this be a side affect of the lower dosage of my medecine. Since I've been on medication I've always taken celexa with my limictal and I take mirtazipine at bed time to help me sleep. So the only change is the lower dosage.. does any1 know what this could be or y? Help please

Coming off of a drug like lamictal has to be slowly worked down and slowly worked up when increasing often called titrating.  If your doctor suddenly cut your dose in half without gradually lowering it you could have some potentially serious symptoms from what I have heard.  I reccommend calling your doctor right away.  It is not anything to lie awake worrying over tonight but I say call him or her immediately the next business day and if you have any sign of any sort of skin infection go to the hospital right away and tell them the doctor has taken you off of that drug and ask them about the safety of coming off that drug and tell them everything.  I suspect it is just normal reaction to lowering a dosage of the drug but you can never be too safe when coming off of a bipolar or mood stabalizing med.  It is worth asking if you can take the meds in half doses but do not do this on your own.  Call the doctor and ask.  Report the side effects and you will feel better knowing you have gotten the proper care.  And remember I am not a doctor.  I am only a fellow patient.

This could definitely be side effects of medications, however a lower dose should give you less side effects not more. I would suggest you call your doctor as soon as possible, and if you get too bad go to the ER. It sounds like your symptoms could be serious!
