numbness in my left brain, be treated as bipolar disorder for 7 years

Hi all,
I know US has better medical knowledge. My question is : about seven years ago, when I am in my early 20's, I got a strange disease, my all brain got numbness(I must say very numbness, can not think), blurred vision, can not hear clearly, lose balance, difficult to concentrate, decreased understanding capability, speaking is Ok, but since thinking is impaired, communication capability is impaired. But I got no fever and flu. These sympton came like all in a sudden- in a few days. oh, got numbness on my face, my left side of body is not parellel with my right side, my left eye is not parellel with my right one, and slept a lot, the most terrible thing is I feel like a knife cut into my brain and drive my consciousness into crazy wild but not realistic . I saw several doctors in China but they told me I was OK,nothing happened, one doctor told me I got neurosis(I didnot take his prescriptions)  and one psychiatrist told me I got bipolar disorder. He prescribed me to take 1 seroxat and 1/8 zyprexa every night, and I am on that medication from 2004 to now. Well, my situation got lighly improved and the improvement is really slow. Well, after two years of medication and restness and I finished a master's degree in the next three years. I also got concentration difficulty, for example, I can not concentrate on class, during project meeting, professor seems very patient. I am grateful to his patience. I begin to work after that.  In 2010, I went to a neurologist how had been studying in France, he was so sympathy with my situation and he was so careful that he found my heterotropia, after confirming I have no congenital heterotropia, he guessed I got something happened in my brain. He accepted me as an inpatient, doing lots of blood tests, MRI, spinal tap, DSA, X rays of cervical vertebra , heart and carotid Color Doppler ultrasound. Blood tests shows I got high C-reaction protein level about 15, MRI show some part of my blood vessel in my brain got Hardening. DSA is nornal, X ray of cervical vertebra got some calcifying. I got intravenous infusion of penicillin, and some durgs to clear blood vessel and brain nutrition. After about one week I got out of the hospital. Now, after almost10 months, I feels much better, I do not feel so depressed, my brain cleared, although I still got heterotropia, but condition is improved a lot, I did not feel like a knife is cutting into brain and got much relief. My question is did I got some kind of rare infection from virus or bacteria? Actually the doctor said maybe I got something like that 7 years ago, but when he got me into the hospital my immune system have already fight the attack for 6~7 years. Wow, does any one have some comments? I hope anyone can help me find out what happened to me? Thanks.

Mold Toxins Damage Your Body and Brain
In the past, bacteria and viruses were unknown, yet they had a huge effect on our health. In a similar way many diseases of the 21st century are caused from biotoxins, especially those made by mold that grow in your house and are in our buildings. The sad reality is, not many are aware of it. As you read this you and your loved ones are surrounded by biotoxins. Designer Health Centers has done extensive research into this (reviewing over 250 articles on mold symptoms) and you will be shocked learn the truth behind mold toxicity. We are exposed to mold in our schools, work, house and even outside air. Any intrusion of water can become the source of fungal blooms. The label that these buildings get is called “sick building syndrome” (SBS).1 Most buildings that have SBS have few sources of contamination which one wouldn’t consider “that serious”. There are hidden mold sources all around you, from your bed sheets to your car floors. Toxic mold chemicals disperse into their air and enter your body through your lungs, nasal cavity, saliva and other mucosal membranes and then travel all over the body. They can cause major damage to organ systems in your body and can develop some of the disease of the new millennium.2 They also affect your brain function and ability to think clearly which can attribute and lead to many of the disorders of the new millennium.3 Mold toxicity can often be misdiagnosed as fibromyalgia, depression, stress, chronic fatigue syndrome and other vague unsupported diagnosis.4
The reality is mold is all around us and it directly affects you, your children and loved ones. If you have spent any time in a musty location or with visible indoor mold, you have mold exposure. According to the research, 1 in 4 people can’t remove biologically active mold toxins.4 What the doctors have found clinically at DHC is that around 75% of new clients have mold toxicity measured by a visual contrast test and certain labs that we order out for you. Dr. Jones who is the founder of Designer Health Centers ended up in a contaminated building when he first moved down to the United States to get his Doctorate. He failed the visual contrast test and his lab values were extremely high! Because of this he needed to do a specific detox and ended up having to move out of campus housing.

Mold can negatively affect almost every organ system in your body. If you have one or several of the symptoms below it is highly recommended that you schedule a consult with one of our health doctors or coaches through this online health center. We will get the appropriate testing done for you and show you exactly what is going on inside your body. We have specific strategies to get this mold out of your body.

Did you ever have physical trauma to your head, spine, or neck?

It is possible that you contracted a virus or bacteria, possibly even a fungus/mold of some type. However, I would think you would suffer from seizures if this was true, although it's not for sure.

It sounds like your professor is the way you want to go. I am sorry you are going through this.

You can ask to be checked for a bacteria affecting your brain or a fungus/mold affecting your brain to your doctor on next visit.

What worked before might be the treatment you seek until you know more, please keep us posted.
