glands and ducts make things feel lumpy, especially when full. If the lumps become hard, hot or painful, or if they don't soften up when you are empty, then you may have a clogged duct.

Yes!!  Totally I've got lumpy breasts too thanks to the milk ducts. It's very normal.

The alveoli are like clusters of grapes that fill with milk. That is very normal. If you get a lump in your duct that is red or painful, you may have a plugged duct. You would want to "unplug" it asap so that you do not develop mastitis.
