breastfeeding and prilosec otc

Can you take prilosec otc while breastfeeding?

yes, you can. although zantac or pepcid is preferred because there are more long term studies on it. however, if you were prescribed prilosec for a condition like gerd and your doctor feels you need it and knows you are breastfeeding, then it's ok (as per dh who is a pharmacist)
