Looking for anyone on Tarceva

My Mom has Metatstatic cancer with no known primary.  She's tried all of the available chemotherapy and nothing has stopped the progression.   It seems to be a slow growing cancer but still progressing.  All of the chemos have made her sick and she wants to talk to someone who has taken the Tarceva.  Wondering if it's worth adding a few extra months only to be sick and in pain for the extra time.   Basically - she doesn't feel it's worth it if she's not going to have quality of life in the final stages here.

Hi,
I am sorry to hear about your mothers' progressive disease.
Erlotinib (Trade name:Tarceva) is indicated for a type of lung cancer called non-small-cell lung cancer, and for pancreatic cancer.
Most patients I know tolerated it reasonably well, although the incidence of skin rash was common.
Tarceva is not FDA apprived for metastatic cancer with unknown primary.

Greetings Sculpey5,  I'm sorry to hear about your situation.  Have you looked into wellness minerals to treat the cancer with?  I am not a Doctor, Nurse, med student nor to I claim to practice medicine. I have been consulting with my nutritionist and have been made privy to some outstanding information within the last few years.  Seek and you surely will find, because there are wellness remedies that can rid a person's body of any Dis-ease or ailment.
Do some research, stay positive and may God Bless you and your mom.
