So we found a stray cat outside with an open wound on his neck. We took him to the vet and they gave him antibiotics for a week. They said it was an old wound and was healing. After that we thought the wound had healed but coming home one way found yellow drainage all over his neck. Took him back to the vet and they said the wound had abscessed. Put him on more antibiotics for two weeks. One week through we had to get him a cone because the wound was getting worse. Two weeks are now over and the wound is still no better. It's open and deep. I feel like we are running out of options to help him.
