CIN2 approaching 3 frightened and more please help

Hi there i dont know if im posting in  the right place but i do need some advice for comfort.  about 8 weeks ago my pap smear came back abnormal and for 4 years it had been borderline with HPV present.  This time my pap came back abnormal mild.... cin1..... but the HPV was gone.   I was referred to a specialist and went in 2 and a bit weeks ago for a coloscopy examination with biopsies.  The specialist told me the cells have formed into moderate CIN2 with some being close to CIN3.... this was within 4 weeks of the pap smear stating mild CIN1! I have had biopsy's taken and have been told they will do the cone next session where they take away a portion.   However im still waiting on the biopsy results which i was told 2-4 weeks its been 2.5 but im in termoil waiting.  I feel awful within myself... im extremely tired.  I have alot of discharge and this can smell unpleasent.  I have not had a period since 1st march 2011.... but i do have polycystic ovarian syndrome too so this doesnt help that..  Since the biopsys i have had sore chest area, and a brown blood discharge and have had to wear sanitary protection for the last 2 weeks.  I now have had for the last week a awful throat and cough.... i dont know if any is related.  I know HPV leads and can lead to cervical cancer but can PCOS aid in this too? i just feel so tired and its getting me down i can get up at 11am and then be tired all day like now.... my partners helping lots as i cant help being so tired its just :( upsetting.  I asked about a hysterectomy and i was told im too young despite my problems from all angles.... i get discomfort in sex, obviously errational bleeding and discharge and well i just need some advice of anyone whos gone through this and if they know anything?

greatfully appriciated

I was diagnosed with cervical cancer this past Jan. I didn't go through exactly what you have, but the best thing is to wait on biopsy report. Then you will go from there on how to best help you. If you are being seen by a gyno-onc, that is best also. Good luck!

Hi katie,

Thank you for your comments.   How were you diagnosed.... I had my results today and it was exactly as they saw with the coloscopy some areas are mild some are moderate with some being more to the cin3 level... however they have told me they want to wait 6 months to see what happens.... im very distressed this has been going on 4 years and i had the hpv too i just do not know what to do.... im only under a gyno not an onc :(

Hello, i had the exact problem your having even the same symptoms. One thing thats different is that i was booked in for surgery in category 1 which means it had to be done in under 30 days. I had not had a pap in 8 years and it ws hpv. I went on to see the gyno every 2-3 months up until now so thats 2 years. I have lots and lots of discharge also which he said would go after surgery which it came back and its not related now. Ive had further surgery to take out glands from the area. The discharge is called acute lukorreah not sure how to spell it though! Im still being monitored every 6 months now but he has stressed its not cancer. But i would go back and tell him you do not want to wait for a review in 6 months. I hope this helps
