2 month pain

I had decompression surgery 2 years ago for chiari malformation.
I have had a horrible headache for 2 weeks now. I have had ct scans and blood work done and it comes up fine. They keep trying these other medications on me nothing works. Sometimes dilaudid doesnt even get rid of the headache. I am seeing a new neurologist wednesday and I want him to hear me! What do you do when you get such a bad chiari headache morphine doesnt even help?

I also wonder about your neck--50% of the time there is compression in the neck, as well as in the skull.  I had that surgery first.

Are u sure ur HA's r all Chiari could u have a related issue like cerviocranial instability, retroflexed odontoid, Ehlers-danlos?

Ur first PFD did u have a duraplasty and laminectomy? R u sure u do not have a CSF obstruction due to scar tissue?

Have u tried a true Chiari specialist?
