Hi all,
Thanks for ur replies.I was worrying that once I start going for the work My symptoms may go worst. That is the only issue nagging me behind my thoughts.Since last year I became lil sensitive (reg headaches) when compared. Thanks for ur support n responses.
GOOD LUCK!
I have Chiari and I have tendonitis in my right arm from typing (computer job). Maybe that might be related to the CM, but I work 40+ hours a week. My right middle finger has been swollen for four years (I can't bend it all the way) and I have constant arm/shoulder pain. I feel your frustration. Everyone's pain is different and what they can and are willing to cope with. So no one can answer your question. Good luck!
I tired to go back to work but I ended up leaving and applying for SSD
I was born with chiari- was not dx till recently- however I did have symptoms, but was not aware of the root cause. I saw many drs over the yrs....anyway my point yea u can work- I worked starting in high school up until my most recent surgery Nov '07......I did not return to work, because I was working 70mhrs a wk and I was stressed out and needed to get my health back on track, and the job I had would not allow that- I am looking forward to re entering the work field.....watch ur stress levels, and the rest u r getting. If u can do that- work. If u can not function- see ur dr again!
PS- in working on a computer at home or at work- be sure to have the moniter at eye level to avoid the stress on ur neck......
Good luck
Godspeed
