MACE! ' FUSION? or decompression??

Mace' was in O. R, 9hrs,her spirits r down & pain level high,she asked me to c if anyone here had a more difficult time during decompression or fusion? She is fused to C3. She had a VERY difficult time w/ the pump pain meds,she was itching so bad she gave herself 2 BLACK EYES! She was thrashing about so bad from pain & itching she almost had to b restrained,so she wouldn't damage the hardware. She has yet to get her pain level under a 9. She has had the seizure like activity daily & is extremely disturbed by it,when it happens now she said it is excruciating pain none she has ever felt before& she hears a cracking/clicking sound in her neck. Yesterday she spiked a fever. I'm trying to keep it together,so hard to c her suffef. please keep us in ur prayers. THANK U

  My heart is breaking for ur DD too....Mace hang in there sweety.

I know a few that had fusion and soccero is one u may want to talk to....I know she had high pain levels too.

My heart is honestly hurting me reading ur journey...i cannot say how sad i am and i want ur daughter to be good.i think a fusion is a mayor surgery and requires a lot of time to get better.i hope that time will heal her...thinking of u
