bulging veins in my head

FYI:
So now my dD (a NP) tells me I need to go to the dr asap, due to the fact that there was a concern several yrs. ago that I had arteritis.  I had had a clot go through my eye, but my sed rate was normal, & I had a Doppler test on my carotid arteries, also normal.
She said NS isn't going to treat it anyway, but it might be important for him to know before I go there in 2 wk.

I haven't read anything on this topic here....

I just read that EDS mimics vasculitis/arteritis.
In other words, the EDS Dx is missed due to the symptoms of vasculitis.
(?)

We seem to have an alphabet soup of Dxs.
