CSF leak area

I had chiari decompression surgery in June,  and was recently diagnosed with a CSF leak.

My question is this. At the back of my skull at the top of the incision line seems to bubble out and feel very squishy when I lay flat. Is this the leak or just tissue and what not?

Also that area beats like a heart along with my pulse

Many times they may also try to have you lay flat to see if it  will seal on it's own....also to keep hydrated with water.....

and I would not lift, pull, push  items more then 5lbs as it can aggravate things for you.

My doctor put me on medication to try and clear up the leak. I go back in the middle of November to see if the medication helped. If not then we have to discuss possible surgery.

That sounds like that is where your leak is....May I ask what your Drs  decided to do for your leak?

What instructions were you given?
