I was recently diagnosed with gastroparesis. Basically, my vagus nerve doesn't work right/ is slow. As a result, my stomach empties slowly. I have good days and bad days. Some days I'm so nauseated I can barely eat anything, other days I seem fine. I also have problems with temperature regulation. I think they're both due to a malfunctioning autonomic nervous system because of Chiari.
My appetite is always next to nil. I barely eat anything. My intake is probably 1/2 of what it was a year ago, but I don't lose weight. It's really weird. My hubby recently went on a diet. He's sen tracking both our caloric intake. I'm lucky to come in at 1200-1500 a day. He's averaging 2500 and dropping weight. It's so not fair. I've got about 80 lbs I'd love to lose. He's got 120.
TTFN,

I have wondered that myself. Will be curious to read others response to this question.
As for me- very rarely does anything sound good anymore. Hardly ever get hungry. But I don't know if this is just me or if it's Chiari.
