Can anyone explain what this means? Dx

Hello all! I haven't been posting a whole lot lately because of the way I feel, but here I am today. :)  I finally got my records from Dr. Di's office so I have them to take with me to him when he is in a new office. Anyway, I think they are missing some information in there as far as notes go. Here is all I can find that he would have written as far as a diagnosis or information goes:

PLAN:  Re-do chiari decompression ASAP - Dr  So and Dr. So (not putting names cuz not sure I am alllowed) That was if I didn't want to wait on him. He really wanted me to have done fast. I am waiting however bc of my experience with that other doc.

Okay now there was this:

This from Dr. Di I believe:

Impression:
Chiari Malformation- post decompression, with worsening of pre-op sx
Cerebellar Ptosis

So my question is: what is pre-op sx? The sx part I don't know what that means.

Thanks ahead of time

Sounds like a good idea....there r way too many "what if's " in life and too much hind site.....do what u feel is best for u, and if u can not wait, then this is what u should do...and checking is not going to hurt a thing : )

Thanks! I am stuck with decisions. Someone said that "what if" Dr. Di's health doesn't improve (his illness) and doesn't return to practice anywhere. I am thinking of going to Dr. Rosner. He does take my insurance. I am going to call his office and see if I can send my MRI and paperwork from Dr. Di and see if he agrees with him before I waste my time going all the way to North Carolina.
