I was having the same problem, and then I decided to do something odd...right after surgery and I was released 2 days later, I couldn't get comfortable at night in my recliner and I couldn;t lie flat in my bed, so my DH and I decided to take a comforter and fold it up and put pillows on top of it to incline my bed so that I was at least at a 30 degree angle or maybe a little more if you add up the pillows...so I have the comfort of my bed and yet I am inclined enough to have comfort to sleep. Also...they have what is called zzzzquil...it is made by nyquil, but is only for sleep aid....half a dose helps to get you to sleep....but it doesn't knock you out to the point of slowed breathing....I just thought i would share what has helped me to rest, inhopes that it would help someone else. Best wishes,.
thanks best of luck to you too! :)

no i haven thad any recent tests done. ya i am trying all sorts of different sleeping positions however I only got i hr of sleep last night :(
Have they ruled out tethered cord for u?...just wondering.....and it could be that u do need to sleep in a more reclined position as Muchies has mentioned, it can be the position u r in.....
@Muncies- I hope u feel better soon too, try a warm soak in a tub or nething relaxing to see if it helps : )
I don't know it is hard to explain because I get really bad headaches when I am up too, and then I want to lay down. confusing
I get the morning part. I try and lay in bed on side when i wake up until i feel "stable" and not like i will vomit as soon as my feet hit floor.
IMO your headache sounds like when you lay down your csf flow is getting more blocked but I am not so knowledgeable of fluid block and symptoms
And i don't sleep lately unfortunately.... Headpains have been with me for 3 works now none stop...
