Female issues related to chiari possibly

Hi Guys,
My gynecologist believes my female issues may be related to chiari.  Having some bloodwork run to rule out menopause(early).  Why is it that every other doctor I see gets it and the NL does not?  Will be glad to see a chiari specialist this summer.  Still waiting on an appointment.  Trying to rule some things out before I go though.  I want all my ducks in a row.  Will see what the bloodwork says.
Don't know which I would rather it be.  On one hand it would be nice to be validated but on the other hand I really don't want more problems because of chiari. Sigh.  Will it ever end??

Bloodwork indicates early menopause.  Was not ready to hear that.  So down.  Was told to monitor for the next 6 months.  I don't expect a change though.

This is interesting, never thought about this.  I have my thyroid, TSH etc checked regularly because the dr feels I will "go Hashimotos" and on another note, having never had "female problems" I now suddenly since January have irregular periods, acne, hair on my face and they found a "mass" last week near my ovary that the doctor just "honestly doesn't know what it is." I go in today with the gyno to "discuss" it.  I get hot flashes and stuff too though my feet and hands are always cold.  I'm only 32 so I hope it's not early menopause or hormonal issues.

Next time u have blood levels done ask about the free T3 and free T4, and TPO antibodies along with TSH...also, they can do an ultra sound of ur thyroid to see if u have nodules.....

If u do have Hashimoto's u can switch btwn being hyper to hypo....

The other possibility is a flattened pituitary gland....

I was 36 when the early menopause started with me, but I did not get my chiari dx until I was 48.

Back then I was told early menopause, b4 that I was told I had intermittent bleeding....after I went into menopause they said that was peri menopause (the 2 cycles per month) ...they could not decide.....

Now I wonder if having Hashimoto's thyroiditis had something to do with it.....have u been checked for that?
