Anyone getting dead or numb spots on bottom of feet/toes

I have not been on here in quite a while. I have been relatively symptom free for a year or better with only mild occurrence of things like trouble swallowing, infrequent headache and other aches and pains. I was diagnosed several years ago with no follow up from any of the Dr.'s that found this condition. I have chosen I suppose to deny that this thing is a real problem because I'm still able to work and function like I have all my life and will if able continue to do so.
Really just wondering I guess if others experience symptoms that come and go like the numbness or dead spots on my toes/ bottom of feet. I know that I'm not diabetic as I've been tested several times unless they are just missing it at the time of testing so it seems to be something with the chiari. Any responses appreciated, thanks.

Hi and welcome back....Chiari symptoms do cycle and come and go....so that is what we all deal with and many of us have continued to push thru and work and live regardless....but one day things can change....no one really knows why...sometimes it can be getting sick with a cold or flu, or it could be a fall....but one day the symptoms can flare to a point we can no longer ignore it.....

So what you have is quite normal....keep a journal to track any new symptoms and get a MRI from time to time to make sure you do not have a CSF obstruction or a syrinx forming as that can lead to long lasting effects if left untreated.
