It is not the length or size of the herniation but if it is creating a CSF obstruction and how it affects you and your over all health that is important, as you stated that Dr is not a Chiari specialist.....

Have you looked into your INS paying for it anyway? You can appeal to your INS to cover the expenses.....so do look into it.
Thank you for help! I'm trying to get Dr.insinga or dr.Bolognese. But they don't except my insurance. And now I don't know how to find chiari NS. Today I was with NS Fontana, she is good NS, but It not Chiari NS. She said 12 mm is not big. But I feel awful

I just found the link to the health pages. In the bottom left hand corner of the Chiari community picture (near top portion of page) click on the Dictaphone symbol, scroll down page until health page link noted (will be blue highlight), click on that link then click on "back to health pages"(near top of page).
