no i have not. that should be my next step to talk to my neurologist?
A CINE MRI is done in 2 parts, the first similar to a regular MRI, but the 2nd is done with contrast dye injected and a BP clip on ur finger.
The MRI is done more like a movie, then still pics so they can see how the flow may change with the beat of ur heart, if the tonsils pulsate it can cause obstruction that may not be seen in a still MRI pic.

CSF flow? I don't know. what is the difference? selma
Ok...so that is considered Chiari 0...did u have a CINE MRI to check ur CSF flow?
Yes i had a mri they said i had a 2 to 3 herniated cerebellar
Hi and welcome to the Chiari forum.
Many of the symptoms u mention can be said to be similar to chiari, but also to several other conditions...until u have testing done to know for sure, it is all speculation.
Have u had a brain MRI w/wo contrast...and a cervical spine MRI?

Yes, this is what u need to know, do u have a CSF obstruction...not all with chiari r surgical candidates....and those with a CSF obstruction r the ones that need attention.
SO u may be able to find that u do not have an obstruction and can just go with meds, PT and being monitored.....
