I can understand the eye thing I've had twitching in eyes as long as I can remember but happens once in a great while and don't last long!

But this twitch in my chin is so aggravating! Never had it there and it's just about a constant thing!

Thanks for info! Wasn't sure if I needed to call dr or not though! So far no syrinx but last cervical MRI was in june or July! Wasn't sure if it was acquainted with a syrinx so was kind of scared but now I'm thinking prob not! Thanks guys!

Yes, I too get the twitching thing all the time. Mostly in my eyelid or right under my eye. Sometimes under my nose. Drives me crazy. I have also gotten it in other areas of by body as well. Lately I have noticed that my face is numb. Very weird. I have control with my facial nreves but it just has a numbness that doesn't seem to go away. My eye will droop from time to time too. It is usually very visible in my pictures. Not sure what that's about. Hope it's not like bell's palsy or anything. I'm so sick of all these Chiari symptoms. Right when I start feeling better Bam I get hit with another episode. I had a headache come on yesterday. It's built and built to the point I can't even think straight. I feel like there is so much pressure in my head it's going to explode. My ears are so full feeling I'm having trouble hearing. I'm typing while holding one eye shut with my hand. Like a drunk or something. I stumbled fell into my closet door and now have a huge bruise. These are the times the Dr.s need to be doing their exams. This is the crap they don't see. I'm starting to entertain the idea that drinking too much artifical sweetner may have something to do with my severity in symptoms?? Just a thought but usually I drink mostly water but the last few days I've had a ton of diet soda and coffee with splenda. Seems like everytime I have a lot of that an episode will jump on me. Does anyone else notice a pattern or trigger in their attacks?

Hi...I would get them in my eyelid too...that just drove me crazy as it affected my vision or so it felt.....lol....

Like Hdavids said it can last weeks..which mine seemed to...and also seemed to show up when I was over tired, not sure it is had ne baring...

I was accused of looking at someone with one eye..at the time I had no idea what that meant, even know have no idea why that she was offended...but yeah...it is a fun chiari thing.

So u r not alone...I even had it happen on my arm.....
