Hi...u could be gagging on ur saliva, I remember the first time I did, it felt like I was gagging on air too...but I did notice that it was my own saliva.
I also asked on ur other thread and asked if u tried to see Dr Benjjani....??
I think thats the dr my pcp is talking about.
I do shake when I'm cold inside my body ans out! And I choke with my saliva. And last night I kept waking up like if I was choking! So if you're strange! We are at least two to be stange. :)
Are you breathing, then gasp for air? That was happening to me for awhile; also it felt like it was difficult to breathe lying down, like there was a 20 lb. cat on my chest. (I know what that feels like!).
The neck tightness & swallowing difficulty is very common.
Aren't we all "strange"? :-)
I shake uncontrolably when I'm cold. My left side is my bad side also. Choke also. I also have tremors. Guess we r all weird lol.
I have three vertebrae fused, another tilting and a disk bulging. I often cough, choke, and feel like I can't finish a sentence because I'm out of air. I know how you feel... it can be frightening. As far as the shaking goes, that has happened to me 2 or 3 times at the PT's. it's almost like a nerve overload feeling. After working on my back, neck, and head with massage, I'll shake uncontrollably in my legs. She stops her work immediately.
I get out of breathe just by talkin. Also any type of activities. Even stairs, then I get all weak and shaky and dizzy, like passin out. We really need to watch ourselves. Ra says no driving nor goin anywhere alone. I barly go out anywher as is
I get shaky from the cold as well...not the normal shivers, but like a tremor, and it can even happen from quickly running out to warm up the car on the cold mornings. It doesn't last very long.
My jaw and right arm get this type of tremor sometimes, especially if I am stressed. I don't know if the jaw problem is just from muscle weakness in my neck & head as a result of the surgery, but it never used to happen before that.
