Has anyone heard of ** The Chiari Institute** in Great Neck New York?  There is a lot of information on this site for those of you who need to learn more info. This site is by far the best website I've found on CM! and other Chiari situations. I hope you  find this site as usefull as I have.

  Hi Jim....yes, there is a lot of info out there and TCI has done a really good job in how and what they have on their site.

I had my surgery there in May of '09 and am extremely pleased with my dr and results.

I agree 100%.  

And it is so very important for patients to educate themselves.  Especially since like Pam said, many doctors are just plain misinformed!

Hello and welcome!  Our group leader Selma actually had her surgery at TCI.  I have checked out their website in the past and they do have alot of good information.  I think after we do our research and read all we can we end up knowing more about Chiari than most doctors that we see.  I am so thankful to have finally found a specialist.  I feel alot less lost will all of it now.
