well,i sent some of my records and a list of symptoms to dr hampf in nashville,he says i need a neurologist,not a surgeon,so i guess he doesnt think 40 symptoms isnt good enough for surgery right now.i think i'm gonna give up for awhile,pretty stressed ,and i have good news ,i'm gonna be a grandma!!!! my daughter is about 7 weeks!!!

thanks everyone for your responses! i have tried so many different drs,maybe a new year will bring some new drs around! yes it is my first grandbaby,i will be mamae! i am very excited ,but my daughter has alot to learn!! maybe then she'll see how hard i had it,only she won't have to do it alone.god bless everyone! goodnight

I know I have had to take a few steps back many times when I've hit a wall and I totally understand it... I would ask this NS what NL he would recommend. I find it kind of weird that he said that though b/c my NS offered to take a look at my scans based ONLY on my symptoms, it was not even known I had Chiari at the time!! So, when you need to push some more...I would try some other NS, you might find that you have more luck. Hopefully, you won't need to do that for awhile....in my case my symptoms just kept getting worse so I had no choice.

HI...so sorry, how old were the MRI's u sent...r they current?U may need to take a step back, but do not give up.....u need answers, I would ask Dr H, whom he would recommend......
